Overview

The principal focus of the Ziegler Laboratory is the development and regulation of the immune system. We are taking a variety of approaches, ranging from a detailed molecular analysis of gene expression to the generation of model systems of human autoimmune disease.

Responsibilities

Performs laboratory and related work such as weighing materials; mixing chemicals; performing calculations and routine tests; preparing slides and specimens; and cleaning, operating and performing minor maintenance on laboratory equipment. 

Qualifications

Graduation from High School or equivalent with interest in the sciences. Minimum of one year experience as a Laboratory Aide II or equivalent.  College level biology/chemistry courses preferred.

Compensation

Lab Technician I: $21.50 to $26.86 per hour

Lab Technician II: $21.50 to $29.27 per hour
