The BRI Center for Interventional Immunology (CII) is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative staff scientist to join our team. Our analyses focus on identifying immune and metabolic markers associated with clinical outcomes, and identification of predictors of response to therapy. The CII includes scientific and clinical investigators and experienced teams to support our studies; together, we design, perform, and analyze data from clinical research studies that aim to better understand the drivers and consequences of immune-mediated disease.
The principal focus of the Ziegler Laboratory is the development and regulation of the immune system. We are taking a variety of approaches, ranging from a detailed molecular analysis of gene expression to the generation of model systems of human autoimmune disease.
The Lord Laboratory is currently seeking a highly motivated and creative individual for the position of Research Technician I. The Research Technician is needed for non-clinical laboratory experiments involving acquisition and processing of human blood and tissue specimens, flow cytometry, cell culture, gene expression analysis, cytokine...
A Clinical Research Coordinator I is asked to perform an increasing complexity of tasks to facilitate clinical trials at Virginia Mason, working with a variety of sponsors ranging from large pharma and biotech sponsors to small non-profit grant awards. This position is based in the Cancer Clinical Research Unit, with patient visits occurring in the downtown Seattle Virginia Mason outpatient oncology clinic. The CRC I will manage a variety of interventional oncology trials in Phases I-III. This position functions as part of a highly dynamic team of Coordinators and Research Assistants (RA) and requires the candidate to be on-site.
A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Lacy-Hulbert Laboratory in the Center for Systems Immunology at Benaroya Research Institute. Research in the laboratory focuses on mechanisms of regulation of the innate immune system, and how defects in these processes impact immune mediated diseases such as Systemic Autoimmunity and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Specific projects include studies of epithelial-immune cell cross talk, regulation of innate immune signaling and cell-intrinsic responses to infection and damage. The laboratory uses a range of approaches, including mouse models, human clinical samples, in vitro organoid cultures,...
This is a joint Long Lab and Human Immunophenotyping (HIP) core position. The Long Lab focuses on understanding the mechanisms of immune tolerance, examining why this tolerance breaks down in autoimmune diseases, and developing therapies to improve it. (HIP) core collaborates with many investigators utilizing cutting edge technologies to enable the study immune-medicated diseases. This joint role offers a unique opportunity to work in both a core lab...
The goal of the Lacy-Hulbert Lab is to understand how different aspects of the immune system cooperate to identify and combat potentially infectious organisms while preventing immune attack against innocuous microbes or the body’s own self.
This position is 19 hours a week, within the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (exact schedule to be determined).
The Khor laboratory is a high-mentoring environment currently seeking a highly motivated and creative individual for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate. The scientist will be engaged in studying novel pathways regulating inflammation, autoimmunity and aging particularly in the context of Down syndrome. Work includes both human and animal models and is highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary. Immunology, in vivo mouse model and systems biology...
